TOURISM: SOCIAL, ALTERNATIVE AND WITHOUT BARRIERS
The Casale Mediterraneo is a holiday home without ARCHITECTURAL BARRIERS offering hospitality, catering, guided activities and tourist services “TO ALL” all year round. The structure has been designed so that it can be used by groups of young people and people with motor difficulties (the elderly and disabled).
At Casale Mediterraneo 3 of the rooms on the first floor are very spacious and can be easily adapted to comfortably accommodate a number of people (up to 6, using bunk beds) without reducing the space connected with motor requirements and with an accessible bathroom inside the bedroom. Handy ramps connect the bedroom floor with the lower floor and the small Park adjacent to the structure. Finally, also the summer sun terrace overlooking the sea features spacious and comfortable wooden platforms for taking the sun and reaching the sea, again accessible via a handy ramp.
Also available “all year round”, in view of the particular conditions of climate, are packages of “tourist services for all” which, through a differentiated series of technical adjustments depending on the special requirements of old people, young people, the disabled etc., enable everyone to enjoy historic, cultural, naturalistic, folklore, food & wine and craft itineraries within the island.
